After the brooder period, the birds live in open-sided mobile shelters that are moved daily across pasture. They receive a non-GMO ration along with what they forage and are raised without antibiotics or vaccines.

Ground chicken sausage works for breakfast patties, stuffing, meatballs and simple skillet meals. It is seasoned and ready to shape or crumble, but it should be cooked thoroughly like any raw poultry sausage.

Each package is frozen after processing. Thaw it in the refrigerator before cooking.
