Online since 1995, FarmersMarket.com has been a free directory of farmers markets and food-related sites.

FarmersMarket.com has won many awards and has been in many articles, both online and in print. It was chosen “Cool Site of the Day,” a “Hot Point Hot Site,” written about in BusinessWeek online, referred to in gourmet magazines, in a variety of blogs, and was recently recommended in one of Daryl Hannah’s videos which focused on the benefits of eating organic food. FarmersMarket.com was also chosen for a technology exhibit that ran five-years at the Science Museum of London. Only six web sites worldwide were selected for the exhibition. Never once has this site been submitted for consideration for any of this recognition, or anything else for that matter. It’s been humbling … I guess passion can get recognized.
